"I had a wonderful experience in Lesotho through the Dornsife Global Development Scholars program. I was placed in the city of Butha-Buthe and worked through the Makhunoane ADP field office interacting with, mainly, the villages of Makhunoane, Boketiso, and Poku. During my observational role, I was giving the NGO we were working with, World Vision, an evaluation on one of their UNICEF/WASH collaboration projects they had conducted in that region in response to a national drought known as El Niño. All in all, it was awesome meeting and working with new people, learning about the people of Basutoland, and even playing basketball with a local team!"
