All physicians, including general internists, medical subspecialists, family medicine, emergency medicine, PAs, CRNPs, fellows in training, medical residents, medical students, all medical specialties

Learning objectives:
After attending this seminar, the participant will be able to:

• Coordinate cardiac historical information
• Differentiate normal and abnormal heart sounds and murmurs
• Utilize the stethoscope with advanced confidence
• Assess the indications for echocardiography and color flow doppler diagnostic techniques
• Recognize the clinical and bedside findings of acquired and congenital heart disease
• Improve case management by determining medical versus surgical approach
