To complete the requirements of the concentration a student must complete the 13 credits of required courses, 4 elective credits and an experiential learning requirement:

• Advanced Trial Advocacy – Trials of the Century
• Criminal and Civil Rights Litigation Strategies
• Criminal Law Legal Research
• Death Penalty Law
• Federal Criminal Law
• Federal Re-entry Court Practicum
• Inside-Out: Crime & Inequality in the United States
• Juvenile Justice Law
• Pennsylvania Innocence Project Practicum
• Sentencing Law
• White Collar Crime

Other courses may be completed with the permission of the concentration director. Students must seek approval from the concentration director before beginning the course.

Experiential Learning Experience (must complete one):

• Criminal Related Co-op
• Criminal Litigation Field Clinic
• Alternate placements may be approved in exceptional circumstances. Students must seek approval from the concentration director before beginning the placement.
