Sitecore Content Management System (CMS)
Sitecore is a Web-accessed, database-driven Content Management System (CMS) that allows users to create and edit academic and administrative Web sites at Drexel. By using page templates, CSS stylesheets, and reusable widget-like components, Sitecore ensures consistency across sites, which is especially useful when multiple people are managing Web content.
The Sitecore Gallery serves as the primary resource for documentation, instruction, and support for Sitecore users.
Introduction to Sitecore training is offered twice a month by University Communications Web Services. Accounts must be approved by a department manager and are intended for users that will be editing sites that currently exist in Sitecore or are in production.

Reporting and Analytics
Websites created in the Sitecore CMS have the option to implement Google Analytics and access a full range of reports, goal-tracking tools, and user traffic statistics.
Drexel uses a Google Search Appliance that scans and indexes over half a million pages maintained by Sitecore.
