Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on your PC or Mac

Before you begin, make sure your PC or Mac meets the system requirements.

Install the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app

Install on a Drexel-owned PC

  Note: If you're working from off campus, you'll need to connect to Drexel's Virtual Private Network (VPN) before you can install the Creative Cloud desktop app from Software Center.

  1. Do one of the following, depending on which version of Windows is running on your PC:
    • In Windows 11, select Start  > All apps > Software Center.
    • In Windows 10, select Start  > Microsoft Endpoint Manager > Software Center.
  2. Under Applications, select Adobe Creative Cloud > Install.

Install on a Drexel-owned Mac

  1. Go to Finder > Applications > Self Service.
  2. Sign in with Drexel Connect.
  3. Under Browse, select All.
  4. Locate Adobe Creative Cloud and select Install.

Install on a personal device

  1. Go to the Creative Cloud website, and select Download Creative Cloud.
  2. Once the download has completed, double-click the downloaded installer.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete your installation.

Sign in and install Creative Cloud apps

You can easily install and update your Creative Cloud apps, such as Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, from the Creative Cloud desktop app.

  1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app:
    • If you have a Windows 11 PC, select select Start  > All apps > Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • If you have a Windows 10 PC, select Start  > Adobe Creative Cloud.
    • If you have a Mac, go to Finder > Applications > Adobe Creative Cloud.
  2. Enter your Drexel email address, it looks like abc123@drexel.edu, and then select Continue.
  3. Select Company or School account.
  4. You'll be redirected to Drexel Connect. Sign in with your Drexel account and verify your sign-in with multifactor authentication.
  5. If prompted with the Kivuto OnTheHub Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, review the agreements; select the check boxes to agree with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and then select Continue.
  6. Under Apps, select Install for the app you want to install.
