Thank you for your years of service to Drexel University. As a non-emeritus retiree, including those who retired through the VRIP program, you remain an important part of our community. This page explains your technology access and benefits after retirement, based on Drexel’s current agreements with Microsoft, Zoom, Adobe, and other service providers.
Note: Access to technology services, accounts, and benefits is subject to change at any time based on Drexel University policies and agreements. Please check this page regularly for updates.
Retirees Before July 1, 2025
- You'll retain access to DrexelOne to manage retirement benefits.
- You can set up a new Dragons (@dragons.drexel.edu) account at accounts.drexel.edu.
- Important: This account will not include any previous emails, contacts, calendar, or OneDrive files.
- Your Microsoft 365 license will change to a retiree license.
- You’ll keep your existing @drexel.edu email address.
- You’ll lose access to desktop versions of Office apps, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You’ll retain access to your @drexel.edu OneDrive content but your storage quota is reduced to 50 GB.
- You’ll have access to the web versions of Microsoft Office 365 applications at m365.cloud.microsoft.
- You'll lose your Zoom Pro license.
- You'll lose your Adobe Creative Cloud license.
Retirees After July 1, 2025
- You'll retain access to DrexelOne to manage retirement benefits.
- You’ll lose your existing @drexel.edu account, including Office apps, email, calendar, contacts, and OneDrive files.
- Important: We recommend you download any files from OneDrive that you want to keep, before your retirement date.
- You can set up a new Dragons (@dragons.drexel.edu) account with a Microsoft 365 retiree license at accounts.drexel.edu.
- You’ll have access to the web versions of Microsoft Office 365 applications at m365.cloud.microsoft.
- You'll have access to Microsoft OneDrive with a 50 GB storage quota.
- Important: This account will not include any previous emails, contacts, calendar, or OneDrive files.
- You'll lose your Zoom Pro license.
- You'll lose your Adobe Creative Cloud license.
