Sample First-Year Plan of Study

The First-Year Exploratory Studies program offers two pathways based on the kind of major or career you plan to eventually pursue. You can follow a plan of study rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics or Business, Social Science and Humanities to complete the requirements needed to transition into your chosen major at the end of the first year. The following are examples of what your academic schedule may look like and will vary based on your placement test results and academic areas of interest.
