The Office of International Programs is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Student Conference on Global Challenges. Focusing this year on SUSTAINABILITY, the conference will take place on Thursday, February 25, 2016, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. in Behrakis Grand Hall, 3210 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
Innovations in science and engineering combined with shifting social and political forces impact contemporary understandings and applications of sustainability. This conference offers students opportunities to share their research and engage in critical reflection and dialogue on how sustainability is shaping our global context within the diverse disciplines of health, education, science, human rights, medicine, law, media, economics, politics, development and history.
There will be six student panels open to undergraduate and graduate students.
