Developing Education Abroad Programs

Drexel offers education abroad programs that span to over 60 locations with options for all colleges and schools. Programs vary from one week to two terms abroad. Students may also choose to combine a term abroad with international co-op for a 9 to 12 month experience abroad.

Full-term programs are those in which students spend one or more terms taking a full time credit load at one of Drexel’s international partner institutions.

Intensive Courses Abroad are faculty-led, one to two week experiential learning courses that focus on a particular topic and use the host city(ies) as the classroom.

Non-Credit Experiences Abroad are those in which students do not earn academic credit, though are partaking in activities such as research or service learning.
