Barsoum, Gogotsi, and Alumni Among 2022 Highly Cited Researchers

Clarivate, a British-American analytics company, has named 2022’s most frequently cited researchers, identified as the top 0.1% by citations for field and year. Less than 7,000 researchers worldwide met this criteria, and several Drexel Materials faculty and alumni made that list.

Yury Gogotsi

Distinguished University and Charles T. & Ruth M. Bach Professor Yury Gogotsi, PhD has appeared on the list for the ninth time, this year in the Chemistry and Materials Science categories. He is one of only 219 researchers who are listed in more than one category.

Distinguished Professor Michel Barsoum, PhD was named a 2022 Highly Cited Researcher in the Materials Science Category, the sixth time he has appeared on this list.
