Sexual Health Services
At Drexel Student Health, we provide confidential care and counseling for you to make the best decision for your health. Whether you are getting a yearly checkup, getting tested for sexually transmitted infections, or exploring birth control options, you can schedule your appointment at the Drexel Student Health Center by calling 215.220.4700 or scheduling online on MyChart.
Preventative Care
- LGBTQ-inclusive preventive care and well–adult visits/physicals
- Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, & Human papillomavirus infection (HPV)
- Gynecological care, cervical cancer screenings, and evaluation of abnormal cervical Pap tests
Infection Testing and Treatment
- Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) evaluation, testing, and treatment
- STI prevention counseling
- Prescription for HIV post–exposure (PEP) and pre-exposure (PREP) prophylaxis
Birth Control and Pregnancy Testing
- Birth control prescription (also known as the pill)
- Birth control shot
- Birth control implant and intrauterine devices (IUDs) administered in office
- Counseling on birth control options
- Emergency contraception available on an emergent basis
- Free condoms and lubricant in the waiting area (no appointment needed)

Note: Under HIPAA guidelines, your medical information is confidential, and information about your care will not be disclosed. However, if your insurance plan is under a parent's name, the insurance company may send billing information to your place of permanent residence.
