International Students

International students are a significant part of the Dragon Community here at Drexel University, representing over 117 different countries. Adjusting to a new country, cultural and academic system can be exciting and challenging. The Counseling Center recognizes that international students have unique needs and adjusting to a new place far from one’s support network can impact your experience here at Drexel. The Counseling Center is committed to providing a broad range of culturally responsive care to our students, in addition to offering tailored support and programming such as our International Student Group.

To make an appointment, please call 215.895.1415, email, or stop by our office at 201 Creese Student Center and tell our administrator that you wish to schedule an appointment.

Understanding Self and Others: International Students Group

This group offers a safe, supportive space to explore the unique experiences of international students. Adjusting to a new culture, school, and country can be both exciting and stressful. This group allows the opportunity for international students to connect with one another and share their successes, difficulties, and personal growth as they navigate the culture of Drexel and the United States. For more information about the group, please contact the Counseling Center.
