Health Insurance and Immunizations
If you received a Drexel Alert and have not yet complied with the health insurance policy for the 2019-2020 academic year, please go to www.aetnastudenthealth.com to complete the process before September 30, 2019.
The Office of Health Insurance and Immunizations provides important information regarding compliance with Drexel University's health insurance and immunization policies. These policies exist to ensure the health and well-being of all members of the Drexel community using the American College Health Association and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
Offices on the University City Campus and the Center City Campus serve all undergraduate and graduate students at the University. Staff work closely with students to ensure compliance with the required polices and overcome any obstacles that may arise in an effective and efficient manner.
In accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations, which govern communications in reference to health-related information, we are unable to communicate directly with parents and guardians regarding student health insurance and immunization. For this reason, we encourage students to speak with their families regularly to avoid any unwanted charges or missed deadlines.
