The Counseling Center may be a stop along a student's mental health and wellness journey. In addition to the goal-focused counseling services we offer, we also provide information regarding ongoing or intensive/specialized community mental health resources. There may be times when a student is referred to a mental health community resource if, in the Center's clinical judgment, the student's counseling needs fall beyond the scope of the Center's services.

The Counseling Center is dedicated to making the referral process easy for students. Our Case Manager is available for students and their families who would like assistance connecting with mental health services in the Philadelphia metro area. Our Case Manager can also help students better understand their mental health insurance coverage.

In addition to our Case Manager, the Counseling Center is excited to offer Drexel University students access to MiResource. If you would like to search for providers, MiResource* is a database intended to assist individuals interested in finding mental health resources in their community. Please have your health insurance information available as it is necessary to help provide appropriate referrals.
