Appointments
Visits to the Drexel Student Health Center are by appointment. Students who are sick are encouraged to contact us as early in the day as possible in order to receive same-day services. If you are experiencing an emergency, such as chest pain, shortness of breath, limb numbness, etc., proceed to the nearest emergency room — do not go to the Student Health Center.
Health Excuse and Note Policy
Many Drexel professors have a mandatory attendance policy for their classes and require documentation if the student misses more than one or two classes.
The Student Health Center will not provide notes to excuse absences for students missing class or exams due to their visit to the Health Center, or because they are experiencing an illness.
