Disinfecting Supplies

University Facilities provides custodial services to communal spaces. Students must bring disinfecting supplies for private spaces (see below by residence hall). Product recommendations include disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, and gloves.

• Myers Hall, Towers Hall, Bentley Hall, and Millennium Hall: Disinfecting supplies are needed for student bedrooms.
• Van Rensselaer Hall, Race Street Residences, North Hall, and Caneris Hall: Disinfecting supplies are needed for all spaces within suites (student bedrooms, living area, kitchen area, and bathrooms).

Bedding

Extra-long twin sheets, comforter, blankets, pillows and pillow cases.

Bath

Towels and washcloths, shower caddy, bath accessories, soap, razor, shampoo and shower shoes/flip flops.

Kitchen

Pots, pans, bowls, dishes, utensils, glasses, dish towels, sponges and dish detergent.

Laundry

Iron and ironing board, drying rack, laundry bag/basket, detergent, bleach and fabric softener (No need to bring quarters; laundry is free in all residence halls).

School

Computer, printer and supplies, back pack/bag, pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, tape, stapler and a calculator.

Organization

Closet and desk organizers, storage crates/trunk, shoe rack and under bed storage bins.

Telephone

All resident rooms have an opt-in voice service. This service is not automatically activated; to do so, contact Drexel Information Technology.

Appliances

Microwave (may not exceed 700 watts) and/or refrigerator (may not exceed 2.9 cu feet or draw more than 1.5 amps), and power strips (UL approved, with circuit breaker). Please coordinate with your roommate(s) so that there is only one appliance per two students. Rental units are available and will be delivered directly to your room before move-in. Things Not To Pack

The following items are not permitted in the residence halls:

• Drugs (except prescriptions and over-the-counter medications)
• Full/empty alcohol containers
• Pets
• Air fryer
• Candles
• Incense
• Incense burners
• Weapons
• Halogen lamps
• Gas-powered equipment
• Space heaters
• Quartz heaters
• Flammable liquids
• Large stereo speakers
