Thomas Trojian, MD, CAQSM, FACSM, is a sports medicine physician practicing in Philadelphia. He is board certified in sports medicine and family medicine, with a special interest in injury prevention (especially anterior cruciate ligament injuries), sports ultrasound use in the guided treatment of injuries, runners and concussion prevention. He is the lead physician for Drexel Athletics.

Prior to coming to Drexel, Dr. Trojian served as the medical director of UConn Sports Club. He also was the team physician for the University of Connecticut women's basketball, women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse, women's softball, men's soccer, coed swimming and diving, coed tennis, and men's football teams. In addition, Dr. Trojian has provided athletic team coverage for numerous sports teams ranging from the high school to professional levels. He served as the sports medicine advisor to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, providing guidance on rule changes and state legislation on injury prevention.

Dr. Trojian is a professor in the Department of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine, chief of the Division of Sports Medicine and director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is lead team physician for Drexel Athletics. He is active in sports medicine research, publishing in the area of injury prevention. Editor for two prominent sports medicine journals, he is the section editor of Nutrition and Ergogenic Aides for Current Sports Medicine Reports and the associate editor for CJSM Thematic Issue.
