Dr. Eileen Bazelon is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine. She teaches a year-long course in early childhood development, as well as a forensic psychiatry course to second-, third- and fourth-year psychiatry residents. She is responsible for the supervision of five to seven psychiatry residents, including running an elective for residents at Bryn Mawr College Health Center, and also lectures first- and second-year medical students in the behavior sciences curriculum on subjects such as early childhood development, attachment theory and eating disorders.

Dr. Bazelon received teaching awards for child and adolescent psychiatry in 1992, 1993, 1994, 1998, 2000 and 2003.
