Rita McKeever, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Hahnemann University Hospital and Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She has additional training in emergency management of radiation disasters and medical management of chemical and biological casualties, and serves on the Emergency Management and Disaster Committee at Hahnemann.

Dr. McKeever completed her residency in emergency medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in medical toxicology at Drexel University College of Medicine. She also holds certification as a medical review officer.

Rita McKeever, MD, is a faculty member in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. McKeever is active in both undergraduate and graduate medical education at Drexel University College of Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital. She has been involved in the development of the College of Medicine's pharmacology curriculum in 2014 and 2015. At the graduate medical education level, she serves as associate director of the Medical Toxicology Fellowship program and provides medical toxicology didactic lectures for emergency medicine residents and fellows. Dr. McKeever also provides guest lectures to other specialties and subspecialties.
