Yue Minjun Artist Catalogue

Yue Minjun is part of China's Cynical Realism movement and is one of the most exciting modern artists to come out of China. I took his distinct style and decided to showcase it in a hardcover artist catalogue. A gate fold is presented in the middle of the catalogue to show a separation between articles and showcasing just artwork. The book is presented in a 10 inch by 14 inch book to highlight the absurdity and strangeness of Yue Minjun's self portraits. The typography used is also larger than life with extremely big pull quotes and article titles.
