The illustrations are meant to be lighthearted and give the restaurant a playful, upbeat vibe.  The egg characters are eating the eggs on the front of the menu and preparing them on the back (front of the house and back of the house) while participating in an American Gothic adaptation in the interior of the menu. I used typography with a varied baseline to keep with the quirky attitude, and kept with a black and white color scheme in order to give the restaurant a modern feeling.
