Five Area Teachers Honored at the 2024 McNichol ECE Lab Awards and Gala

The Lisa and John McNichol Early Childhood Education Lab is proud to recognize the 2024 recipients of the Penny Hammrich Teacher Recognition Program awards. Five area teachers were recognized at this year's award ceremony and gala hosted by the lab and the School of Education.

This year's awardees include five area teachers who each showed excellence in social-emotional learning (SEL) and pedagogy in early childhood education settings (up to 3rd grade). Each award recipient received a certificate that they can include in their resume, a small monetary award, and an invitation to join the McNichol ECE Lab where they can collaborate with other teachers from across the country on a wide variety of SEL-related projects.
