What is the Noyce Scholarship?

The Drexel University Middle School Noyce program is a prestigious funded program from the National Science Foundation (NSF) with the goal of recruiting and Preparing STEM teachers for high need schools. Extensive research has demonstrated the need for STEM teachers in high need schools. The Drexel Noyce program provides a scholarship for students who are obtaining certification in a STEM subject, and also provides funds towards a Post Bachelor's Certification or masters’ degree in teaching, learning, and curriculum with certification in a STEM subject to be completed within 14 months. 

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible participants with a baccalaureate degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering who would like to teach are encouraged to apply. Scholarships up to $20,000 are available. For every $10,000 of scholarship funds, a two- year of commitment to teaching is required. For further information, questions or or to apply, contact Dr. Vaidya, Program Director at vaidyasr@drexel.edu.
