About School Work Studio
Welcome to Drexel University School of Education’s School Work Studio! The Studio is the hub where Drexel University, and parents, teachers, and community members from our seven Philadelphia partnership schools come together to create solid educational opportunities for children. Through the Studio, Drexel provides educational resources ranging from professional development for teachers, to fun and educational programming for students after school. We currently serve seven schools located in the federally-designated Philadelphia Promise Zone, a nearly 2-square mile area that encompasses Drexel University’s campus, Mantua, Powelton and West Philadelphia neighborhoods. Drexel University is committed to serving its neighboring communities through education so that more children can grow up healthy, happy, and achieve their dreams.
