Animal Welfare Concern Reporting (Whistleblower Policy)

"No facility employee, committee member, or laboratory personnel shall be discriminated against or subject to any reprisal for reporting violations." – Animal Welfare Act

In compliance with the Animal Welfare Act, the chair of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) will accept any complaint regarding inappropriate care, misuse and/or abuse of animals at this institution and refer the complaint to the IACUC for review.

Report A Complaint

Drexel is committed to providing humane use, care and treatment of research animals. If a concern arises, please report immediately to IACUC chairperson, iacuc@drexel.edu .

Or report anonymously at EthicsPoint or 866.358.1010.

The report should include a factual description of date, time, location, animal species, numbers and identifications of animals, personnel involved, and any other relevant details. The complainant's identity will be kept confidential.
