Based on current COVID-19 data, guidance from our public health and medical experts and forecasted pandemic conditions, Drexel has made the decision to add an additional week of remote instruction to the beginning of the winter quarter/spring semester for most students.

Thank you all for what you do every day for this University. I know it can be easy to lose sight of the power of that work when you’re tired or caught up in the day-to-day. But it is meaningful, and it could not be done without you.

The health and wellbeing of our University community remains the utmost priority as we head into the new year. This message contains important updates for students for the return to winter term.

All eligible Drexel faculty, professional staff and students are now required to get a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As we approach the winter break, we want to take this moment to express our gratitude for all your hard work and dedication to Drexel over the past year, which enabled our University to perform exceptionally well under extremely challenging and often rapidly changing circumstances.

The start of the winter quarter and of some spring semester programs has been modified in response to available COVID-19 data and forecasted pandemic conditions.

To provide increased flexibility for students’ progress to degree completion, the undergraduate Course Repeat and Academic Standing policies have been updated, effective with the Fall 2021 term.

The Nina Henderson Provost Scholars advise and collaborate with senior leadership in the Office of the Provost on projects related to key priorities of the Strategic Plan. The following high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students — chosen from an impressive pool of over 270 applicants — comprise the inaugural cohort.
