Medical Student Affairs

Many of the milestone events for our medical students are managed by Student Affairs.

The Office of Student Affairs provides guidance, support and administrative assistance to all MD program students. To ensure the best experience possible, we have a suite of services and a friendly staff to aid students as they progress through medical school. Our relationship with each student begins the summer prior to the first year, and continues beyond graduation.

We serve as liaisons to faculty and administration for students, and provide academic and career advising, counseling, and coordination of residency applications. We also provide information and support for student organizations, while meeting regularly with class and student government association officers.

Many of the milestone events for our medical students are managed by Student Affairs, including orientation, the white coat ceremony, Match Day and commencement.

Our service units include:

  • The career development center
  • Financial planning office
  • Academic support services
  • Diversity office
  • Wellbeing (counseling)
