Pulse - Fall 2023 Conversations That Matter: The College of Medicine’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Podcast

We invite you to listen to “Conversations That Matter,” a podcast in which Leon McCrea II, MD, MPH, senior associate dean of diversity, equity and inclusion, interviews members of the College of Medicine community about their lives, their journeys in medicine, and their thoughts on diversity in medical practice and education.

These conversations cover a range of topics, including increasing inclusivity in the workplace, ensuring equitable patient care, improving the experiences of bilingual health care providers and patients, creating inclusive spaces for queer and transgender people, the meaning and importance of holistic student affairs, and finding community through shared backgrounds, just to name a few.
