The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society recently named Drexel Neurology a "Partner in Care." This designation shows that Drexel Neurology has the ability to offer a multidisciplinary model of care to address the often complex needs of people with MS, including a full array of medical, psychosocial and rehabilitation services delivered in a coordinated fashion where providers share common goals for patient outcomes.

David Tabby, DO, associate professor, Department of Neurology, directs the MS program. He has worked closely with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for many years. Tabby has been a committee member, guest speaker, and an active Bike MS fundraiser. He was also a founding member of the Philadelphia chapter’s Disease Management Work Group, designed to help those with MS get access to the best care possible. As a physician, Tabby provides the widest range of care possible to patients with MS, who he treats at Drexel Medicine in Center City, as well as a community health center in North Philadelphia.

A Partner in MS Care is a designation by the National MS Society for health care professionals who demonstrate knowledge of and experience with MS care and who also work closely with the society. The Partners in MS Care program recognizes optimal care to individuals and families living with MS who often have specific needs.
