2023 Transition to Clinician Ceremony

 

West Reading Campus - Invitation Only Event
Monday, May 15, 2023, at 9 a.m.

The 2023 Transition to Clinician Ceremony is a special event for Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health's MD program class of 2025. A celebration of the inaugural class at the West Reading Campus, this event will allow students to mark their entrance into the medical profession as they transition to the clinical phase of their medical education. The event will begin with a student awards ceremony at the campus, followed by a group walk to Reading Hospital for remarks and a tour.

2022 Transition to Clinician Ceremony

The 2022 Transition to Clinician Ceremony was a special event for Drexel University College of Medicine's MD program class of 2024. Entering medical school during the pandemic presented the class with many challenges, including having a virtual White Coat Ceremony.This April 25 event provided the students the opportunity to celebrate a rite of passage in person, and mark their entrance into the medical profession with a pinning ceremony. In the presence of faculty, staff, peers, family and friends, they entered the next phase of their journey to becoming physicians, reciting an oath to commit to the professional obligations, ethical principles and lifelong service to humanity the profession requires.
