We are pleased to invite you to attend this year’s Drexel University College of Medicine MD/PhD Retreat This event will include short remarks from DUCoM leadership, presentations by current MD/PhD students and a keynote presentation by Bisan Salhi, MD, PhD, of Drexel University.

This annual event is an opportunity for MD/PhD students to showcase their research endeavors and engage with the supportive community of DUCoM faculty, staff and students that help make the MD/PhD program possible here at Drexel. We look forward to sharing our students’ investigative projects and perspectives with you and celebrating the incredible mentorship that has helped us all get to this point!

• 12-12:10 p.m.: Opening Remarks by Elias El Haddad, PhD
• 12:10-12:20 p.m.: Opening Remarks by Elisabeth Van Bockstaele, PhD
• 12:20-12:30 p.m.: Opening Remarks by Sandhya Kortagere, PhD
• 12:30-1:20 p.m.: Session I
• 1:20-1:30 p.m.: Remarks by Kenny Simansky, PhD
• 1:30-2:30 p.m.: Session II
• 2:30-2:40 p.m.: 10-minute break
• 2:40-2:50 p.m.: Remarks by Michael Nonnemacher, PhD
• 2:50-3:40 p.m.: Session III
• 3:40-3:45 p.m.: Closing Remarks by Student Leadership
• 3:45-4 p.m.: 15-minute break
• 4- 5 p.m.: Keynote Address: Bisan Salhi, MD, PhD
