Woman One Award Ceremony

We invite you to attend the 2023 Woman One Award ceremony, which will be held on Thursday, October 5, at Le Meridien in Philadelphia. This important program also celebrates our impressive Woman One Scholars, who are committed to practicing medicine in underserved areas.

This year’s ceremony honors two outstanding Philadelphia leaders, Ala Stanford, MD, and Ellen Yin, MBA. Stanford is the founder of the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium and the Center for Health Equity in North Philadelphia. Yin is the James Beard Award-winning founder of High Street Hospitality and a local community leader.

Donations to the Woman One Scholarship Fund are not required of those who wish to attend the ceremony. Your presence in support of the event is what matters most.
