Michael Lucke, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Lucke is the program director for the Allegheny Health Network Rheumatology Fellowship. He is an ambulatory attending at the Allegheny Health Network Autoimmunity Institute and a clinic preceptor for rheumatology fellows, medicine residents and Drexel University College of Medicine medical students. He provides didactic lectures in the field of rheumatology to all levels of learners. He is a supervisor for the Allegheny Health Network Rheumatology Fellow Continuity Clinic and serves on the inpatient consultation services at West Penn Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital. Lucke was awarded a grant in support of fellow led CME accredited lecture series to primary care clinicians.
Research
Lucke is the clinical lead for the Allegheny Health Network Autoimmunity Institute, Psoriatic Arthritis Care Transformation Registry co-investigator. He is the principal investigator at Allegheny Health Network for two studies, one on a Phase 3 study for treating psoriatic arthritis and a prospective longitudinal study for patients with ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis.
