Marcin A. Jankowski, DO, FACOS, FACS, CHSE, was the medical director of trauma and surgical critical care at Hahnemann University Hospital. He is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He came to Drexel from Crozer Chester Medical Center, where he served as the medical director of the trauma program and the surgical trauma intensive care unit.

Marcin A. Jankowski, DO, FACOS, FACS, CHSE, is a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. He was previously on the faculty of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he had numerous leadership roles including serving as the site director for the general surgery residency program at PCOM as well as the medical student and the physician assistant surgery clerkships. Dr. Jankowski has also served as the co-medical director of the Institute for Clinical Education, Simulation Innovation and Safety (ICESIS) at Crozer Chester Medical Center. While there, he also developed and served as the director of numerous educational programs such as advanced trauma life support (ATLS), pre-hospital trauma life support(PHTLS), disaster management and emergency preparedness (DMEP), and trauma evaluation and management (TEAM).

Dr. Jankowski is an active member of the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. He currently serves on the Board of Examiners and is a content contributor for the general surgery and surgical critical care oral and written exams. He is also a faculty member for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners and a member of the HAP Trauma Council Committee.

Dr. Jankowski has a strong interest in health care simulation technology and its application to resident and medical student education. He is a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE) and is actively involved in developing educational opportunities utilizing simulation for students and residents.
