George S. Prousi, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms. His clinical expertise includes catheter ablation of complex arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Prousi also performs a wide range of cardiac device procedures, including the implantation of traditional pacemakers, leadless pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices. He contributes to the advancement of the field through his involvement on several national committees and editorial boards for cardiac electrophysiology journals.

George S. Prousi, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. He joins Drexel from the University of Virginia, where he completed advanced fellowship training in field of invasive cardiac electrophysiology.
