Volunteer Opportunity For Faculty

Drexel is privileged to have the opportunity to work with the Science Leadership Academy Middle School (SLAMS), located adjacent to our Health Sciences Building, to provide mini-courses in health education for 5th- through 8th-grade students. Faculty and students from the College of Medicine and the College of Nursing and Health Professions will collaborate together to teach these actively engaged mini-courses around two curricular topics.

Young Dragons Health Sciences Summer Camp

Dates: July 15-19
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. each day

Camp Information:

Campers will be rising 6th-8th graders; many of our campers are from SLAMS
Lead a session or support a planned activity
Join us all day or choose from the morning (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) or afternoon (12 to 3 p.m.) shift
