I spent my time conducting research during the summer of 2019 at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. It was an extraordinary experience to participate in pioneering research focusing on health in humanitarian responses. I was able to contribute to research analyzing different frameworks used in infectious disease in conflict-affected settings. This summer provided me with an unrivaled opportunity to explore different career paths at the intersection of clinical practice and infectious disease research.
