Liyan Wu, PhD
Liyan Wu, PhD, is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Mesoscale Materials Laboratory in the School of Engineering at Drexel University. He joined Drexel in 2019 after getting his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wu's research interests lie in the design and structure of functional inorganic solids. He investigates the synthesis, crystal chemistry, and physical properties of electronic ceramics and high-quality epitaxial perovskite films used in wireless communications and photovoltaic solar energy conversion. As a member of the postdoctoral community in the School of Engineering, Dr. Wu believes in the importance of advocating for postdoctoral benefits to the Drexel community at large. He is also excited about gaining experience and having fun through sharing our professional skills and providing services to the community.
