The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) ensures that Drexel University College of Medicine continuously measures, demonstrates and strengthens its educational and institutional quality — aligning accreditation, data, innovation and strategy to advance the College’s mission and drive excellence.

- OIE ensures readiness and excellence across LCME, MSCHE and all accrediting bodies, and converts accreditation data into institutional insight.

- OIE leads change management, policy development and coordination across all missions, and leads nationally in innovation in medical and graduate education.
Representation & Collaboration
OIE represents the College of Medicine at a meeting of University Academic Transformation Implementation Teams and at the University Accreditation Council. It also serves as faculty accreditation lead (FAL) for the LCME and as a peer reviewer for MSCHE.
OIE collaborates with all offices at the College of Medicine and Drexel University, including OEA, TIME, Faculty, OCHIE, Office of Vice Dean of Research and Innovation, Dean’s Office, University Office of Institutional Research, and Assessment and Accreditation.

- Four LCME elements brought into “Satisfactory” compliance: medical student mental health, medical student research, timeliness of clinical evaluations, and clinical supervision
