New College Building has laboratories that offer a perfect location to conduct collaborative research in the heart of the city. The Genomics Core Facility, the Center for Advanced Microbial Processing, the Institute for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease and Biosensor Technology, are some examples of the innovative research facilities housed here.

State-of-the-art research training for graduate students is offered at New College Building in biochemistry, biotechnology, cancer biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, cell biology and genetics.
