People - Planet In Distress Project
These students focused on global environmental destruction and disasters and wanted to show how environmental degradation impacts communities. They wrote:
"There are a lot of social issues plaguing the world today, and they affect everyone and everything: people, animals, and the environment. Our work highlights just some of those issues and how we need to start making changes in order to save the planet and those who inhabit it. The piece is intended for anyone who is involved in activism because it shows the intersectionality between all these different movements: environmental, educational, and inequality. All of these movements are incredibly important, but we need to remember that they all affect the same thing: our world. Which is why it is so important to bring awareness to them."
