Education is Power!
Fall 2025
This mural focuses on educational inequality, including school funding, the pressure of grades and getting ahead, and disproportionate numbers of men and women in STEM education. One of the students wrote, "My group’s overarching theme was education. Our slogan was “Education is Power.” Those three words really encompassed everyone’s social issues. Even though our topics were different, such as income and education opportunities, mental health, and standardized testing expectations, we realized that education was the connecting thread. It shapes awareness, opportunity, and long-term change."
