Student Service Programs

In addition to our volunteer database where you can find volunteer opportunities to pursue in your own time, we offer sustained service programs that put students in deeper relationship with community partners and include learning and reflection components to build on the service experience.
Service programs at the Lindy Center include:
- Lindy Scholars - Drexel student organizations can receive funding and training through the Lindy Scholars program to present workshops to local middle school students
- AmeriCorps Nonprofit Co-ops – students can become a member of AmeriCorps, a national service organization, while doing their Drexel Co-op at a local nonprofit in a position focused on workforce development
- Drexel Community Collaborators - this provides students the sustained opportunity to work in collaboration with a local non-profit community organization based on eligibility, interest, and availability. Focusing on direct and/or indirect service projects; positions range in scope but may include duties such as tutoring elementary school youth, serving meals to homeless individuals, or providing administrative support through projects focused on capacity building and/or sustainability
For students who have already graduated, we also maintain a list of post-graduate service opportunities and fellowships.
