Wired Network & Internet
Drexel University offices, classrooms, and laboratories are equipped with high speed (1Gbps) wired Internet access. The campus is connected to the Internet using multiple Service Providers (ISPs), Internet2 connections, and peering arrangements with regional research and education optical networks and the ability to burst over 100 Gbps, sufficient enough to accommodate any sudden demand. Drexel's DragonFly wireless networks which are deployed campus-wide offer high-performance Internet access for mobile devices and those choosing to go unwired.
