Register a devices hardware address for Wi-Fi or Wired Networks
When requested by Drexel IT instructions, use the following link to connect to the hardware address registration system https://networkregistration.drexel.edu.
About hardware addresses
All wireless and wired devices have a hardware address. These addresses are some times referred to as MAC Address, Hardware Adapter Address, or Wired/Wireless Physical Address. Hardware addresses are 12 characters in length and are usually displayed by the operating system (or a sticker on appliances) in one of the following formats:
02-3C-A9-8B-FD-E4
02:3C:A9:8B:FD:E4
023C.A98B.FDE4
023CA98BFDE4
If you can't find the hardware address for your device, check with the user manual that came with your device or contact that manufacturer for assistance.
Legacy Registrations Used By Lab Managers:
The legacy registration system has been retired. At the current time addresses entered into the legacy system are still being honored; however, IT is planning to expire these addresses in the future. Contact the network operation center for advice on how to move your devices to DragonFly3.
