First Time Using Canvas

Are you looking at a blank course in Canvas, and don’t know where to start? Take a look at our Getting Started with Canvas video to see the how you can start posting content.

Courses

Any Banner course designated in CLSS to be run in Canvas will be automatically created.  This will occur no earlier than 10 weeks prior to the start of a quarter or 12 weeks prior to the start of a semester.  If within this period, courses will be created during the next business day. Instructors are automatically granted access to their courses after being assigned to the course in Banner. Once the course has been created and the instructor assigned, they may access the course in Canvas, in order to start building content for the upcoming term.
