Tuesday, December 6, 2022

The USDA predicts that food prices will increase by 5-6% this year. Maintaining a nutrient-dense diet is already challenging enough without having to deal with the stressors of inflation. During this presentation, Kaitlin Poillon, MS, RDN, LDN, Drexel University’s Nutrition Counseling Services Practice Manager and Outpatient Registered Dietitian, will discuss dietitian-approved grocery shopping tips to keep your diet balanced and your wallet full.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware as well as a Master of Science Degree in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. Kaitlin is a passionate and knowledgeable clinician with years of ongoing professional experience in many different settings, including acute clinical care, weight management, oncology, and outpatient nutrition counseling. She possesses extensive knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy to prevent and/or manage many different disease states, including but not limited to Diabetes, Heart Disease, GI Diseases, Cancer, Renal Disease, and many more. Kaitlin focuses much of her outpatient work in helping clients form healthy, sustainable, and balanced relationships with food.
