Course Description and Expected Learning Outcomes
Drexel University training uses an interactive set of tools and exercises to help you build a foundation in lean Six Sigma process improvement. In our one-day entry-level White Belt course, you:
- Gain a fundamental understanding of the importance of Continuous Improvement and the implementation of Lean Six Sigma principles
- Learn the strategic questions to ask that can promote the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and methods to drive business value, lead change, and ensure return on investment (ROI)
- Engage in a hands-on overview of the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) process improvement methodology

White Belt Prerequisites
Since White Belt is an introductory course, there are no prerequisites for enrollment. No prior knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is required.
White Belt Certification Exam
Once the White Belt training has concluded, a short, open book exam will be given to all participants. The open-note exam includes 20 multiple choice and true/false questions, and is timed for 30 minutes.
