Do I need to be a current Drexel student to take a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) course?

You do not need to be a Drexel student. Anyone can take a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) course.

Do I need to apply to the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program?

There are no application requirements to enter the Continuing Professional Education program. However, some of our Project Management and LEAN Six Sigma courses do require fundamental business process knowledge.

How do I register for a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) course?

You can register for a CPE course through the CPE course catalog. The link to the catalog is posted on each page of the CPE website. Just click on this link, add your course to the shopping cart and click check out. You would then be asked to create a new customer account.  You may also pre-register for a course by completing the CPE Registration Form [PDF].

Do I have to pay for my CPE course at the time of registration?

Tuition is due prior to the start of class. You may complete the CPE Registration Form [PDF] to hold your spot in a course without payment. However, tuition will be due one day prior to course start day.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Drexel University’s CPE department accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal and company checks. If paying by check, you would need to submit a completed CPE Registration Form [PDF] along with your check payment.

How do I register if my employer is paying for my Continuing Education course?

You may use our online registration system if paying by company credit card. If paying with company check, please contact the program administrator at 215.895.2154 or for assistance and to receive a course invoice.

What is your course cancellation policy?

The College reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a course is canceled or closed, the applicant will be notified immediately and a full refund will be processed automatically unless another course is requested.

Can I drop a course after registering?

You will be given a 100% refund if you drop the course before its start date. Please contact program administrator Patricia Gremmel at to withdraw.

What type of credit will I receive after completion of a Continuing Professional Education course?

Upon successful completion of a CPE course, participants will receive CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and/or PDH (Professional Development Hours) credit. These credits may be used to maintain your professional credential and are eligible for most employer reimbursements.

Will I receive documentation after course completion to provide to my employer for reimbursement?

Every course participant will receive a certificate upon successful completion of a course. Detailed invoices are available upon request. Please contact program administrator at 215.895.2154 or
