Dr. Anita Gelburd holds three master's degrees and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been on the University of Pennsylvania staff for over 30 years, first working on the academic side of the University and then within central Information Technology. She also taught in the History Department at Penn for several years.
Her certifications include the PMP (Project Management Professional) and Six Sigma Green Belt. One of her main areas of specialty is risk management and mitigation, particularly in the arena of business continuity. She currently serves as Penn's Program Manager for the University-wide Mission Continuity Program (MCP).
In her spare time, Dr. Gelburd teaches yoga and meditation.
